naxtoFinnaly got Saiyuki Reload dvd 1 today...and am loving it-the Japanese version anyway. After watching the episodes in Japanese-I decided to sample the English version-I WISH I HAD NOT DONE SO!
Sanzo- Lex Lang's Sanzo is just plain stomach churing awful-as much as I disliked David Mantrenga's Sanzo,David Mantrenga's voice is MUCH better and much more suited for Sanzo then Lex Lang.Give me Toshihiko Seki ANY day.
Goku and Gojyo-just plain horid sounding...like nails on chalkboard
Hakkai: OH DEAR GOD...Hakkai comes out sounding like a very very very effimate Tootsie in the worst way imaginable! Give me the ADV dude's overly-snarky sounding Hakkai over this anyday!!!*retches*
The Japanese Seiyuu's are SO much easier on my ears...
