I actually read the paper today-usually dont-and was pleasantly surprised by the big headline on the front page about The Rev. V. Gene Robinson being elected Bishop on NH!My Dad-an Episcopal priest btw-is at National Convention right now. Ive never been able to figure out why this whole thing was such a big deal really-just because hes gay shouldnt have meant anything in his getting elected-hes just the best suited for the position In my opinion.My Dad told me at one point that many of the people who were against this were also against the ordination of women(back when it was an issue) as well. Makes ya think.....
